The software has been designed as universal program for surveillance hybrid platforms running concurrently with wireless and wired IP webcams, TV-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the equal appearance and functionality on the local and remote workstations. Users watch MPEG-4 coded picture and have complete control of the software via net that security pc can be run without monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Software`s modular composition significantly improves reliability because all parts work as autonomous software. If one unit freezes, other modules keep on working. For instance if the `capture` part stops working, `watchdog` starts over it instantly that users don`t notice anything because they are viewing video via a `playback` unit. The software performs `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never appears. The recording can be constant or it can be activated by activity, human face recognition, or by calendar. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance computer as well as on apart pc via Web interface. The software makes simultaneous video playback for event examination from multiple webcams simultaneously. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
